Experimental Design for the Social Sciences
"To call in the statistician after the experiment is done may be no more than asking him to perform a post-mortem examination: he may be able to say what the experiment died of."
- Sir Ronald Aylmer Fisher
The workshop is intended to introduce participants who work in the social sciences and related disciplines to the principles of designing experiments and observational studies in a context that is most relevant to them.
Fee: None to members of the Cornell community, but registration is required. Since space is limited, early registration is encouraged.
For times and locations of upcoming workshops, please see the Workshop Schedule.
